My first square dance lessons were in 1964 in St. Cloud, MN. Shortly after completing my lessons I joined the army, married my wife Hella and started a family. My wife after seeing my square dance diploma was curious so we began square dance lessons again but had to stop due to an injury but finally after recovering finished a class and graduated in 1994. We have been active in the square dance community ever since. I enjoy the fellowship because my "day job" is a lonely Maytag repairman :-)
In 2004 I purchased some records and then in 2005 some calling equipment and began to work at it by attending seminars and getting help from established callers. I have called at demo's, lessons and have some dances booked in 2008 when I plan to start doing regular club dances.
I am currently a member of ND Callers Association, MSDCA and CALLERLAB.
