I began Square Dancing in 1976. This was a time where each town had its own club. My parents were avid dancers and it was during this time when I was first bitten by the calling bug. I learned to Square Dance from Bill Morton and to plus dance from Whitey Aamot. These callers have influenced my calling style as much as my mentors, Dick Reuter and Wayne Kubichek.

I feel a well called Square Dance is one that not only is enjoyable, but one builds a Square Dancerís confidence. I use music a variety of music from the 1970ís to the present.
